Waking up in Hang En
After breakfast of pancakes and coffee we went further into the cave to explore. First was up a steep cliff of fallen rocks. It looked a little daunting but wasn't so bad. Except for Petra. She took a nasty fall forward and not her tongue, bruised her hand and surely will have a sore chest from hitting it too on the rocks. She very bravely carried on up. Then I had a bit of a moment when we had to walk a tiny path of sloping sand on rock where if you slipped you'd keep rolling of the rocks and quote a few meters down into the dark. I wanted to turn back but Annetta assured me this was the only part like this and then helped me past it, shaking with nerves. At the bottom where tere were stallectites, stallecmites and fossils in the rocks, we again had a photo session and turned off our lights. You could see both entrances which made it look like you were a tiny germ in a nostril. Not sure if this visualization makes sense here.
We walked on round to the other entrance which is very spectacular and where they filled part of the movie 'Peter Pan'.
Back at camp the tents had been brought down and we were given spring rolls and other snacks before heading back.
Lunch was at the same place, only this time there were loads more dogs. I managed to give the two starving puppies most the food. Very sad. There are just too many dogs and no vet's to sterilize them.
The last part of the walk was tiring going back up the cliff, but Annetta cleverly told us there was a child beer waiting at the top which was all the motivation we needed.
Oxalis bus was waiting for us and we arrived back I the dark. Filled I the evaluation form, got our luggage and were dropped at our hotel. Roy had booked a cheap hotel in town which was perfect add out had a hot shower and was where the bus would fetch us. Right next door wad the happening place, 'Easy Tiger' where we had two for one beer and pizza. We shared a table with a young British couple who were good company. They might stay work at a bar in Cambodia soon, otherwise they will go to Thailand.
