Back to Hanoi
We were collected at our hotel at 8 and it was misty most of the hour and a quarter drive to the station along a narrow cliff edge road.
The train which left soon after 10 was empty for most of the morning but filled up the closer we but to Hanoi.
A few of the local people talk very loudly! No matter if you are sleeping, they will come and sit next to you and proceed to sit at each other. After many hours of noise I put on my headphones and listened to some good music. Much better.
We finally arrived at Hanoi in the dark at 7.30 in the evening.
Dinner was at a street restaurant and although it was good barbeque food the price was a total tourists rip off.
We walked back to the train and got into the overnight for Dong Hoi.
Unfortunately we didn't have the compartment to ourselves this time.
